Who is Ricky Gravel? 

I am an 18-year-old kid from Ottawa, Canada.  I make music,  teddy bears and clothes.

Where did you get the idea for this video? 

I got the idea from a few things. I love videos where a lot of things are going on but it’s all taken in one shot. I watched this video of some kid shave his head in front of a camera and I thought it was the coolest thing so I knew I wanted to do something like that. I ran my ideas by Wassim and we bounced ideas off each other and ended up shaving my head while I played guitar in my buddies bathroom.  

What does this song mean to you? 

The song means a lot to me. Each verse is like the three stages in a lot of relationships. The first verse is talking about how I’m deeply in love, then the second verse is when the problems start occurring and then the last verse is where I’m heartbroken. It’s not based off an actual relationship but it's definitely inspired by one.
